In essence, this design - though commercial - is much like a living room but on a much larger scale. Sculptural angles expand and contract, urging people into the gaping entrance and through the reception area, museum shop and theater and into the museum and tour-accessible factory areas.
From their initial encounter with the outside of the building, visitors know up front that inside they will be lifted from the ground - it informs their spatial experience even before they set foot in the structure. Green carpeting and chocolatesque seating add character to the interior design, reinforcing the playfully abstract surrounding building shell.
