FACADE OF HOUSE WITH LIMESTONE BY MCLEAN QUINLAN

British architects studio McLean Quinlan sent us pictures of a house that was recently completed in Buckinghamshire, England. The house is situated on high ground overlooking gardens and fields an undulating topography. The main entrance is approached by large granite boulders in a shallow pool, forming a floor "floating", which leads to a pavilion with dining room and entrance to the indoor pool, the left of the entrance. The limestone facade, brings a touch of formal references in the south elevation, but the house still retains the traditional English style, and presents trends of classical modernist houses.
